Louise Shankle, 78, of Chapel Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at NHC Oakwood in Lewisburg, following an extended illness. Mrs. Shankle was born in Bon Aqua. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, N. C. Shankle of Chapel Hill; sons, Alan Shankle of Madison, Tenn. and Tony Shankle of Chapel Hill; daughters, Cecilia Dunn of Weslaco, Texas, and Pam Burrows of Ardmore, Ala.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren...

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, Sept. 25, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Stan Butt Jr. officiating, followed by burial in Swanson Cemetery.
