Edna Earl Jones Tate, 68, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Tate was a native of Marshall County and daughter of the late Earl and Florence Little Jones. She was a licensed practical nurse working in the local hospitals and nursing homes for several years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Jones, and a great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Frank Tate of Lewisburg; son, Timothy Cheek of Murfreesboro; brother, Tommy Jones of Lewisburg; sister, Kathy Jones of Lewisburg; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Friday, June 11, in Lone Oak Cemetery.
