Clatie Massey Liggett, 97, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011, at NHC-Lewisburg.
A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of Mary Milstead Massey and William H. Massey. She was retired as a dental assistant for Dr. Charles Hopper and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Liggett was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Billy Spain Liggett, who died in 2010.
Survivors include two nieces, Susan Rutherford and Patricia Cooper, one nephew, William Michael Massey, and one sister-in-law, Marinola Massey, all of Nashville.
Graveside services for Mrs. Liggett will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in Lone Oak Cemetery, with Bill Tankersley and James Watkins officiating.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
