Newsom Gary Reese, 69, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, in NHC Healthcare Columbia.
Mr. Reese was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late Oscar Douglas and Janie Ruth Head Reese. He was retired from Heil Quaker Corporation after 40-plus years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Gail Reese, and three brothers, Douglas Oscar Reese, Gerald Reese, and Bobby Reese.
He is survived by one daughter, Denise Reese Green of Spring Hill; two grandsons, Houston Jacob Towe and Hustie Luke Towe; and his ex-wife and friend, Catherine Reese of Columbia.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 30, in Lone Oak Cemetery. No visitation was held before services.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
