Ned Lee Poarch Sr., 77, of Belfast, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Maury Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Poarch was a native of the Diana Community in Giles County, and son of the late Golie Jay and Lillie Bell Ball Poarch. He was a retired foreman with the Marshall County Highway Department and a member of Cornersville Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Joyce Poarch; five brothers, Monty J. Poarch, John L. Poarch, Charlie Poarch, Howard Poarch, and Thomas Poarch; and a sister, Josie Talley.
He is survived by his wife, Villa Louise Hobbs Poarch of Belfast; four sons, Ned Lee Poarch Jr. of Lewisburg, Scotty Dawayne Poarch of Belfast, Jeffery L. Poarch of Lewisburg, and Michael Joseph Stinnett of Lewisburg; four daughters, Linda Sue Poarch of Belfast, Demetress Renee Poarch Adcock of Lewisburg, Patsy Renee Lutrell of Lewisburg, and Dana Leeann Matheson of Lewisburg; two sisters, Lena Sue Barnes of Cornersville and Alice Bell Newton of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Wednesday until the funeral hour for visitation.
