Mildred Ann Dyer, age 89 of Cornersville, died Saturday, Mar. 11, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Dyer was a native of Mooresville in Marshall County, TN and daughter of the late Myrt Alton Grissom and Sarah Belle Liggett Grissom. She was a homemaker and member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Wayne Dyer; husband, Clay Knox Dyer; and half-brother, Robert Earl Grissom. She is survived by one daughter, Ida Yvonne Dyer Coggin of the Laws Hill Community; three sons, Phillip Knox Dyer, James Eddie Dyer and John Alton Dyer all of Cornersville; sister, Mary Elizabeth Haley of the Laws Hill Community; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were conducted Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home and burial followed in Beechwood Cemetery.

The family was at Cornersville Funeral Home Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 1 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
