Mary Ruth Moore Brown, 91 of Chapel Hill, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Maury Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Marshall County, TN born Nov. 21, 1926, daughter of Herbert and Nannie Austin Wright. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Moore and second husband, Marvin Brown; son, Phillip Moore; grandson, Timothy Kay Upchurch; and four brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret “Thomas” Spires of Chapel Hill; son, Gary Moore of Lewisburg; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and six step-children.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial followed in Rowland Hill Cemetery near Park City in Lincoln County.
The family was at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
