Mary Elizabeth DeFoe, 63, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Maury Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late Carl Allen and Sarah Louise White Liggett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank DeFoe, and sister, Jean Cushing.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Woodside of Lewisburg; stepson, Keith DeFoe of Cornersville; two grandchildren, Bill and Beth Woodside; four sisters, Clara Mae Davis, Jo Ann Bills, and Betty Ruth Hobby, all of Shelbyville, and Denise Primm of Lewisburg; three brothers, Allen Liggett and James Eddie Liggett, both of Lewisburg, and Billy Wayne Liggett of Shelbyville; and special friend, Bob Bowden of Lewisburg.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 23, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in the Wheel Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
