Mary Alice Walker, age 94 of Lewisburg, died Friday, February 12, 2016 in Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late William Marcus and Hannah Hardison Hooten. She was retired from Faber-Castell and was a member of the Berea Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walker; a sister, Clarissa Cheatham, and a brother, J.W. Hooten. She is survived by her son, Alvin (Barbara) Walker of Dickson; a daughter, Roberta (Clarence) Cozart of Berlin; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February, 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of London Funeral Home. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family was at London Funeral Home Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
