Martin Stanley Maynard, born Feb. 1, 1952, passed away Feb. 5, 2021, after a long history of heart disease.
Loving husband to Kathleen Maynard; son to Margaret Ruth McCrory Maynard McLean; brother to Bill (Jamie) Maynard and Anna (George) Childress; father to Stephanie (Tyler) Tilliman, Wesley, David, Rachel, and Stephen Maynard.
He also leaves behind six step-children and eighteen grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Petersburg High School, Martin Methodist College, and MTSU. He was a retired Air Force Captain, worked at Boeing, and Northrup Grumman.
He lived in Vail, AZ, formerly of Belfast, TN, and was an active member of the Empire Ranch Foundation, the Elgin Club and the Santa Cuze Fair Grounds.
He will be missed for his wit, humor, generosity and stories.
