Martha Jane Jones, 88, of Lewisburg, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at NHC-Lewisburg.
She was the daughter of Sara Dysart and Robert Brown, was a member of Liggett Street Church of God, worked for many years for Genesco and Tyson Foods, and was well known for her love of Gospel music.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Doris Radley of Nashville; sons, James Jones of Memphis, and Mike and Randy Jones of Lewisburg; sisters, Mary Bishop of South Bend, Ind. and Pauline Wilkes of Whites Creek; devoted granddaughter, Consuela "Buffy" Jones; devoted great-grandchildren, Jalen Jones and Tiera Allen; 27 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were on Sunday, June 9, at Liggett Street Church of God, followed by burial in Cook Memorial Cemetery.
J. B. Mayberry and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
