Martha Barbara Brown, 93, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Smith County, Tenn., and daughter of the late Robert and Riley Ann Slager Bennett. She was a waitress and day care owner before her retirement. She was a member of Lewisburg First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brown, and daughter, Judy Carol Brown.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Sanders of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brenda (Frank) Hoots and Becky Brown, both of Fayetteville; sister, Dot Dawson of Lewisburg; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. for visitation.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
