Marshall Co. XC turns in several season bests

HERMITAGE — The Marshall County High School cross country teams participated in the Voyles Classic on Saturday and saw several runners post season best times.
Marshall County’s Aydan Cook was the top runner for the Tigers and broke the 20-minute barrier with a finish of 19:56, good enough for 72nd in the meet.
Other finishers for the Tigers were Connor Jones (22:49), Logan Amonette (23:23), Jacob Wakham (25:10), and Terrence Bishop (23:28).
Kendall Adams posted the fastest time for the Tigerettes and finished in 23:17, good enough for 44th overall.
Kamaria Johnson finished second for the Tigerettes in 23:45.
Other finishers for Marshall County included Kamea Johnson (25:17) Karlie Lohr (24:57), Olympia Cathey (25:31).
Kendall Adams, Kamea Johnson, Kamaria Johnson, Alicia Ward Basabe, Abby Haley, Maggie Steely, Aydan Cook, Logan Amonette, Terrence Bishop, Jacob Wakham, and Noah Long all posted season-best times for Marshall County.
