Mrs. Marcella Maupin Spence, 89, of Verona, died Monday, June 17, 2019, at NHC Lewisburg.

Mrs. Spence was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Lee Andrew Maupin and Mary Montgomery Maupin. She was a retired Marshall County School Bus Driver, homemaker, and a member of the Berea Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, B.D. Spence, son, Daniel Wayne Spence, and a brother, Marvin L. Maupin.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy (Ralph) Allen of Culleoka; one son, Bill David (Carol) Spence of Verona, and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Wright Spence of Verona; eight grandchildren, Josh (Ashton) Spence, Jonathan (Caroline) Spence, Katie Beth (Tyler) Trout, Heath (Lisa) Allen, Summer (Brian) Myrtetus, Blake (Julie) Allen, Laura (Parker) McCullough, and Emily Spence; ten great-grandchildren, Henry, Quinn, Elinor, Griffith Spence; Beau, Tucker Spence; Jacob, Austin Allen; Ada, Annie Allen.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Berea Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue Friday, June 21, 2019, until the funeral hour.
