Mrs. Linda Sue Tankersley Hodge, 70, of McMinnville, TN formally of the Laws Hill community, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, in Nashville, TN. Born in Coffee Co, TN, Mrs. Hodge was the daughter of the late Thomas Oliver Tankersley and Bertha Adams Tankersley. Linda was a homemaker and of the Southern Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edwin Hodge, Sr. and two daughters, Tammy Diane Hodge and Carrie Jean Hodge.

Mrs. Hodge is survived by her children, Tawyna G. Eady of Murfreesboro, TN, Penny Layne Bratcher (Tim) of McMinnville, TN and Donald “Buba” Hodge (Tina) of Lewisburg, TN; sister, Ruby Lawson of Elyria, OH; grandchildren, Matthew Donald Eady, Jr, Haley Danielle Eady, Brittany Champion, Jeremy Tomlin, Anthoney Darrell Leonard, Jessica Lynn Bratcher, Jennifer Nicole Boyce, Katlyin Nicole Powell, Darian Amber Hodge, Kelsie Maelayna and Ashley Marie Slinger and twenty great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the Hodge family will be from 12 until 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Yancy Weddington, Steven Weddington, Bryan O’Dare, Stacy Smith, Ronnie Smith, Kenny Vaughn and Terry Vaughn will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Linda’s grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN  38105.
