Linda Sue ‘Suzy” Alberts, 75, resident of Cornersville, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at Williamson Medical Center.

Born on Nov. 27, 1943, in Waynesboro, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Trainum and the late Beulah S. Frazier Trainum. Suzy enjoyed spending time with her friends, and having family get-togethers. She was an avid animal and music lover. Above all, she will be remembered as a “hot mess” and although her short stature, “ten feet tall and bullet proof.”
Survivors include her husband, Doug Alberts of Cornersville; grandchildren, Jeffery Marshall, Quinton Marshall, and Kira Marshall, all of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Scott Marshall.
