Linda Gene Stewart Edwards, 75, of Mt. Juliet, formerly of Lewisburg, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late Gene and Ida Louise Harwell Stewart.
She was formerly employed, in the Marshall County area, with Gordon Hospital and Community Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Edwards of Mt. Juliet; three daughters, Pamela (Wayne) Peach of Smyrna, Janet E. Jones of Mt. Juliet, and Lisa (Allen) Robertson of Lawrenceburg; two stepdaughters, Sharon Edwards of Murfreesboro and Carol Edwards of Smyrna; and a sister, Mary Will Cooper of the Anes Station Community. Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 14, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
