Lately, we, the common folk, have been flooded with political opinions from Hollywood's elite, as if their views should be endorsed because famous entertainers are smarter than we. These actors should understand that most of us pay money to buy tickets at the cinema because the actors usually portray characters who represent normal people struggling in the real world, like us. If Hollywood actors used themselves as major characters in movies... no one I know would buy a ticket. These legends in their own minds should also remember that when they espouse their political preachings, the usual response from us is an amazement of their arrogant hypocrisy.
My new year's resolution is to be extremely particular with the money I spend on movies and concentrate on good books instead.
