Lanny Carl Clifton, 70, of Diana, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at his home.
Born in Lewisburg, he lived his entire life in Giles County. He was the son of the late Carl Clifton and Janie Fox Clifton. He was a retired tow motor operator at Faber Castell and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Keith Clifton.
He is survived by two sisters, Carlette Vincent and Susan Holley both of Diana; two brothers, Gary Clifton of Pulaski and Terry Clifton of Frankewing; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN 37047 with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Cornersville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
