June Whitsett Ring, 92, of Lewisburg, died Friday, July 22, 2022, at NHC Oakwood.
She was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Deward Allen and Annie Rydner Holt. She was a seamstress and a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ring; daughters, Brenda Whitsett (Steve) Jones, Brownie Joyce Whitsett, and Deborah (Gerald) McCracken; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Judy (Danny) Pirtle of Fayetteville; son, James Allen (Pam) Whitsett of Lewisburg; sister, Maggie Hopwood of Lewisburg; brothers, Dan Holt of Lewisburg and David Holt of Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, with burial following in Ring Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and continued Sunday until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
London Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with the arrangements.
