Julius C. Thomison, 79, of Nashville, passed on Friday, June 28, 2019.
He was born in Marshall County, the son of the late Mr. George and Annie Thomison. He was a member of Scott Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville, attended Marshall and Bedford County schools, and was a truck driver for many years.
Mr. Thomison was predeceased by his parents, four sisters, and six brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie Thomison, one foster daughter, Teresa Jordan, three grandchildren; four brothers: Wayne Shelton, James, Robert, and Ricky Thomison; six sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
J.C. Thomison, will lie-in-state on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the Family Life Ctr., 426 Heil Avenue, from 4 until 6 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, July 5th, at Scott Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cook Memorial Cemetery.
