John W. Uland, 75, resident of Lewisburg, died on June 26, 2019, at Marshall Medical Center
A Celebration of John’s life will be conducted on July 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Faith Assembly Church with Linda Price officiating.
Born on Sept. 9, 1943, in Independence, OR, he was the son of the late George Uland and the late Kathleen Ashcroft Uland. He served in the United States Marines as a Communication Specialist and was retired from CosmoLab as a tool and die maker. An avid gardener, he enjoyed planting flowers and bird watching. John loved hot air balloons, later obtaining his pilot license, and collecting trains. He was a devoted member of Faith Assembly Church in Farmington, and a good Christian man.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Anita Amack Uland of Lewisburg; daughter, Julie (Greg) Howell of Portland, OR; sons, Steven Uland of Portland, William (Monica) Uland of Lewisburg, John (Brittany) Uland of Lewisburg, Michael (Danielle) Uland of Cheyenne, WY; brother, Wayne Uland of Huntsville, AL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
