John Mark Gold, 53, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Monday evening, March 11, 2013, in Columbia.
Mr. Gold was born in Marshall County and was a construction worker. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Bedford County.
Mr. Gold was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Elizabeth Thompson Gold.
He is survived by children, Cassy Black of Lewisburg and John Brandon Gold of Shelbyville; father, Parks Gold of the Farmington Community; sister, Elizabeth Manier of the Rover Community; twin brother, James Gold of the Farmington Community; three grandchildren; and a niece, Amanda McKoon of Shelbyville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Temple Cemetery near Lewisburg. There will be no visitation prior to services.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
