Jo Ann Boyd, 70, of the Caney Spring Community of Chapel Hill, died Saturday, May 17, 2014.
Ms. Boyd was born in Washtenaw, Mich. and was a daughter of the late Ralph Parks and Ethel Mae Walker Boyd. She was a retired employee of Square D Corporation of Smyrna, and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and enjoyed all Vols sports.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by a son, Boyd Bissinger.
Ms. Boyd is survived by children, Laveta Houston of Portland, Texas, Dawn Bissinger of the Caney Spring Community of Chapel Hill, and Dwayne Green of Thompson's Station; brothers, Butch Boyd of Portland, Texas, and R. P. Boyd of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Kullum and Kain Houston, Tanner Foster, Makayla Cepparulo, and Bentleigh Bissinger; ex-husband, Jerry Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
No visitation or funeral services are planned at this time.
