Jane Ruth Hill Hartley, 83, of Lewisburg, formerly of Spring Hill, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Jane was a homemaker who loved her family and everyone around her. She was a longtime member of Spring Hill Church of Christ and the Eastern Star of Spring Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Logan C. "L. C." Hartley in 2006; parents, Timothy B. and Esther Hunsucker Hill; son, Richard Alan Hartley; and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Charles "Bubba" (Cyndy) Hartley of Columbia; daughters, Judy (John) Ruck of Lewisburg, Shirley (Coley) Harper of the Burwood Community, and Wendy (Terry) Young of Spring Hill; brother, Alvin (Nancy) Hill of Mt. Juliet; sister, Gloria (Jim) Carney of Ashland City; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 16, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, with Glen Alexander officiating. Burial followed in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

In appreciation of their loving care, the family requested the staff of Willowbrook Hospice to serve as honorary pallbearers.
