Mr. James Wallace “Wally” Hill, 75, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Thursday, May 21, 2020, at his residence. A native of Marshall County, Mr. Hill was a son of the late William Horace Hill, Sr. and Ruby Katherine Mealer Hill. Wally was a retired contractor and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Mustain Hill.
He is survived by a daughter, Shelly (Bo) Griggs of Lewisburg, TN; two sons, Timothy L. (Donna) Hill of Petersburg, TN, James Gregory (Jackie) Hill of Lewisburg, TN; a sister, Katherine (Wally) Haines of Chapel Hill, TN; a brother, Horace (Teresa) Hill of Chapel Hill, TN; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a private visitation for the immediate family. A public graveside service was held at 12 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. Please know that online tributes at lawrencefuneral.net are appreciated.
