Mr. James Ronald Bailey, age 77, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Mr. Bailey was a native of Coffee County, the son of the late Aubrey and Mary Belle Reavis Bailey. He was a retired lieutenant for the Tennessee State Trooper Highway Patrol and served his country in the National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Prince Bailey; one son, Michael (Louanne) Bailey of Lewisburg; one daughter, Kathy (Paul) White of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Katelin (Gabriel) Almazan, Hayden and Logan Bailey, Jason (Megan) White, Daniel (Tiffany) White, Cody (Sarah) White; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began on Tuesday evening 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
