James Robert “Bob” Wright, 89, of Brentwood, TN, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN.
He was a native of New Orleans, LA, the son of the late James Wright and Mildred Dennett Wright. He was a General Manager/President of the Teledyne, Corp., a member of the Brentwood United Methodist Church and former member of Lewisburg First United Methodist Church. Bob was decorated with medals from the Air Force during his time of service during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Orcutt Wright, a sister, Beverly Johnson, and grandchild, David Alexander Harris.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Rowe) Harris of East Wareham, MA and Angela (Jay) Feitel of Panama City, FL; two sons, Bob (Donna) Wright, Jr. of Maryville, TN, David (Dawn) Wright of Brentwood, TN; eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one niece, Diane (Bill) Nunley; and nephews, Edward (Alicia) McKenzie and Bobby (Tammi) Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2020, at 10 a.m. from the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church, 325 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, with burial to follow at 2 p.m. in the Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of London Funeral Home and will continue Friday, March 6, 2020, from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
