James Eddie Farler

James Eddie Farler, 52, of the Spring Place Community, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Farler was a native of Marshall County, and son of the late William Farler and Lucille Fitzgerald Farler of the Spring Place Community. He was retired from the University of Tennessee Dairy Research and Education Center in Lewisburg.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Betty Farler Hargrove of Spring Place and Carol Farler (Roy) Garrett of Lewisburg; and four brothers, David (Carrel) Farler of Belfast, Harold (Rita) Farler of Cornersville, and Wayne Farler and Don Farler, both of Spring Place. One nephew and three nieces also survive.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 30, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Short Cemetery.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
