James Dwight Hedgcoth, 60, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Hedgcoth was a native of Marshall County, TN, born May 26, 1957, son of J.D. and Ruth Ledford Hedgcoth. He was employed for several years with Heil-Quaker Corporation and retired from Marshall County Impact Center as the Driver’s Ed Instructor. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a beloved and devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Ruth Hedgcoth; brother, Tommy Hedgcoth and sister, Carolyn Hedgcoth. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Doree Jaye Wells Hedgcoth of Lewisburg; son, Christopher Hedgcoth of Lewisburg; two daughters, Lacie (Austin) Hedgcoth and Karlie Hedgcoth both of Lewisburg; sister, Janice (Buddy) Hedgcoth Warren of Petersburg; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 13, 2018, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home and burial followed in Head Springs Cemetery.
The family gathered at the funeral home Friday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
