Ms. Ida Mae Jett, 79 of Portland, TN, died Monday, July 22, 2019 at Signature Health Care in Portland. Ms. Jett was born May 18, 1940, in Texas, the daughter of the late John Bell Jett, Sr. and Anna Louise Jett.
Ms. Jett is survived by several cousins and a loving extended family.
Along with her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her brother, John Bell Jett, Jr. and her sister, Lyda Mae Jett.
Visitation will held Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow 11 a.m. Thursday morning at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN.
