Herschel "Bubba" Harris, Jr., 46, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2012. Mr. Harris was a son of the late Herschel E. Harris Sr. and Margie Ethridge Hodge who survives. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Harris of Lewisburg; a son, Bubba Harris III of Lewisburg; mother and stepfather, Margie and Joe Hodge of Lewisburg; four sisters, Beverly Crosslin, Tandy Pigg, and Sheila Hightower, all of Lewisburg, and Peggy Deason of Chapel Hill; three brothers, David Carter, Jerry Harris and Tony Harris all of Lewisburg; and 13 grandchildren.. ...

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Harris Cemetery.
