Henry Ford Crabtree

Henry Ford Crabtree, 89, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Crabtree was a native of Lincoln County, and son of the late Jesse and Lila Hardin Crabtree. He was a supervisor with Genesco Corporation before his retirement, and later was employed with Inter City Products. He was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Louise Humphrey Crabtree, in 2011; daughter, Wanda Crabtree Head; and granddaughter, Marla Head.

He is survived by his daughter, Alice Pack; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Crabtree Mills of Fayetteville; and brother, Roy Crabtree of Wheatland, Calif.

Funeral services were conducted by Earl Cook and Jared and Jordan Pack on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Talley Cemetery at Cane Creek.

The pallbearers were Billy Wade Crabtree, Mike Mills, Morris Mills, Jerry Cook, Tommy Cook, Don Humphrey, and Pete Smith.

London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
