The FMS Rockets are not used to losing, not having lost a game since E.O. Coffman beat them last year, but on Thursday, the Generals routed Forrest 12-0 in a five-inning, run-rule win in Spring Hill.
Forrest managed just two hits in the ballgame on a double by Dylan Eady in the second inning and a single by Jaylen Smith in the third.
Marshall McKee was the only other Forrest base runner when he walked with two outs in the first inning.

'Snowballed'
"There is not much to say," said FMS head coach Bart Joyce. "It started kind of bad and just snowballed."
The Rockets committed four errors in the field and issued seven free passes from the mound in the contest to go along with nine Spring Hill hits in the five-inning contest with Austin Dunston providing the big blow on a three-run home run in the second inning that gave the Generals a commanding 7-0 lead.
Forrest starter Jordan Jent retired two out of the first three Spring Hill hitters in the first inning before losing the strike zone, walking the next three batters in succession.
After a pair of singles by Blake Thomas and Andy Hale made it 4-0 Generals, Jent got out of the inning on a grounder to Luke Cunningham at short.
Eady hits
Eady's two-out single was wasted in the top of the second by Forrest, and in the home half of the frame, Spring Hill plated five more runs, knocking Jent from the mound after facing five Generals.
Jacob Jones took over on the hill for Forrest and his defense was not kind behind him as they committed two errors to go along with a pair of Jones' bases on balls, plus a passed ball to make it a 9-0 ballgame after two innings.
Smith led off the third inning with a base hit, but was wiped out on fielder's choice before the Generals pulled off a 6-3 inning ending double play one batter later.
Spring Hill scored three more runs in the bottom of the third, making it 12-0 and the Rockets were unable to muster any offense the rest of the way as the game ending, dropping the Rockets to 2-1 on the season.
Hopes for better
FMS will back in action, travelling to Unionville on Monday to take on Mid-South Conference foe Community in an afternoon twin bill.
"We just got to rebound and come back Monday and have a better day," said Joyce. "As a team we just got to forget about it and play again on Monday."
