The Forrest wrestling team traveled to Harpeth on Saturday for a huge early season meet and the Rockets made a big splash, finishing in third place amongst 16 teams.

The Rockets were the only Class A school in the top five, finishing two points behind 3A Clarksville Northeast and way behind 3A Wilson Central, who ran away with first place.

The Rockets sported three winners as Billy Clanton (220 pounds) and Clay Watson (152) won their respective weight classes, while Jeffery Gross (106) finished second and Payton Sisk took the third place spot on the podium in the 132-lb. weight class.

The Rockets will be back on the mat tomorrow when they travel to Centennial and on Saturday, Forrest will compete in another big invitational tournament at Cheatham County.
