CORNERSVILLE — On Monday night, Cornersville honored the swimming career of former swimmer Alli Wells, a 2022 Cornersville High School graduate.
Wells is the most decorated swimmer, not just in the history of Cornersville, but the entirety of Marshall County.
Her accomplishments include multiple district wins, four years competing in the MTHSSA regional meet, two years at the TISCA state meet and the Southeastern’s.
In addition to excelling at her academic studies at UT-Southern, Wells has made an impact at the collegiate level as well.
She has set multiple school records at UT-Southern and was also named the UTS swim captain, was a Mid South Conference watchlist, named to the All-Character Team, and was invited to compete at the NAIA national meet.
She was also named to the chancellor’s list this past fall.
On Monday night, Cornersville presented Wells with a banner, naming her accomplishments, which will hang in the gym.
