Ernest Elmore "Sunny" Hargrove, 84, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, in St. Thomas Hospital.
Mr. Hargrove was a native of Veto, Ala., and a son of the late Erskin and Estella Akin Hargrove. He was retired from Lewisburg Casting Company and was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; eight brothers; one son, David Doyle Hargrove; and his wife, Katherine Marie Higgins Hargrove, who died in 2012.
He is survived by two sons, Glenn (Kathy) Hargrove of Dade City, Fla. and Terry (Nancy) Hargrove of Old Saybrook, Conn.; four daughters, Connie (Ronnie) Pollock, Donna (Claude) Lee, Jan (Harold) Hargrove, and Misty (Brian) Jett, all of Lewisburg; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Myrl (Ed) Burrow of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 30, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
