Edwin Foster "Buddy" Whorley, 86, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at NHC Lewisburg.
Mr. Whorley was a native of Marshall County, and he was the son of the late Robert Alpine and Ola Mae Foster Whorley. He was retired from ICP, was a farmer, and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, where he received a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Whorley of Lewisburg; daughter, Becky Hutcheson of Fairview; and sister, Margaret (William) Lee of Bell Buckle.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, March 4, in Lone Oak cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
