Edna Thompson Richardson Stacey, age 96 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Stacey was a native of Marshall County, and she was the daughter of the late Fred and Jeffa Mae Renfro Richardson. She was a homemaker and a home health nurse. She was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church and the Marshall County Home Demonstration Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Stacey. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Wayne) Coomes of Lewisburg; son, Freddie (Sara) Stacey of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Lisa (Paul) Greenwood of Arlington, Virginia, Art Coomes of Lewisburg, Fred (Lisa) Stacey of Lewisburg, Vicky (Steve) Witherow of Lewisburg. Five great grandchildren also survive. Also surviving are caregivers Marie McMillian and Carolyn Osborne.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 and on Friday from noon until the funeral hour.
