Dr. Louis Albert Shone, III, 79, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, following an extended illness. Born in Lawton, OK, Dr. Shone was a son of the late Lieutenant Colonel Louis Albert Shone, II and Mattie Sue Emmons Shone. Dr. Louis Albert Shone, III

Dr. Louis Albert Shone, III, 79, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, following an extended illness. Born in Lawton, OK, Dr. Shone was a son of the late Lieutenant Colonel Louis Albert Shone, II and Mattie Sue Emmons Shone. He was a graduate of Texas A & M University where he studied animal science, mathematics and computer science and was a proud member of the Aggie Marching Band. He also studied at Navarro College and Texas Tech University while working on a PHD in computer medicine. He was also a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and received a Masters Degree from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, Al. Dr. Shone received his MD degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps. Dr. Shone loved soccer and was involved in many facets of the sport.

He is survived by a daughter, Maria Kristine Shone of Arlington, TX; three grandsons, Ruben, Rico and Marco, all of Arlington, TX; his loving partner of 15 years, Linda Carol Hill Vincion of Chapel Hill, TN, and Linda’s great-granddaughter, Linda Gayle Vincion.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at a later date at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague, TX.
