Dorothy Ann George, 83, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at her residence.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Bonnie Hurt. She had retired from Durango Boot Company and was a member of the Wilson Hill Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Stacey Edgar George in 2008.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ann Haislip of Lewisburg; step-sons, Stacey Edgar George, David Fred George, Claude Randall George; brothers, Wayne Hurt of Lebanon and Bobby Hurt of Lewisburg; one sister, Faye White of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Anna and Evan Haislip, Tammy Kramer, Alton George, Laurie Day, Christopher George, Rachel George, David Lee George, Joey George, nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Head Springs Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
