Donald Rhea "Don" Newman, age 57 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Newman was a native of Davidson County, Tennessee, the son of the late Bobby Newman and Joyce McCormack Zito of Tellico Plain, Tennessee. He was a supervisor with Nichirin, Inc. and member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Rhea Newman.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Faye Baugher Newman of Lewisburg; two daughters, Megan Newman (Clint) Rich of Lewisburg and Hannah Newman (Ryan) Davis of Cornersville; three sisters, Nancy Montgomery of Canton, Georgia, Sara Deffendall of Clarksville and Doree Hedgcoth of Lewisburg; foster mother, Margaret Willis of Lewisburg and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Harold Foster Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial following in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family was at London Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Tipper, Rocky Spencer, Franky James, Cody Henson, and Anthony Poarch.

London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
