Donald Lee Orman, 83, of Lewisburg, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 9:44 p.m.
Mr. Orman was a native of Charlestown, IN, born on April 18, 1934, son of Ernest and Mildred Daily Orman. He served his country in the U.S. Army, retired from NASA as an electrical engineer, and was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith I. Orman. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Nancy Morgan Orman, of Lewisburg; son, Paul Earl Orman of Pasadena, MD; two daughters, Dr. Evelyn K. Orman of Charlotte, NC and Deanna Orman Chipley of Orlando, FL; and one granddaughter, Sarah Jones Chipley of Orlando, FL.
Mr. Orman’s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Lewisburg First Baptist Church. The family will gather at the church for visitation from noon until 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewisburg First Baptist Church or Gideon’s International.
London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
