Donald J. Singleton, 80, of Cornersville, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at Maury Regional Hospital.
He was a native of Davidson County, the son of the late Arthur and Ella Anderson Singleton. He was a retired Colonial bread man and was a member of the Robertson Fork Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Singleton.
He is survived by one daughter, Donita (Darrell) Prentice of Columbia; sons, Donnie (Nancy) Singleton, Dwayne Singleton, and Dennis Singleton, all of Cornersville; sister, Barbara Baker of Nashville; brother, Arthur Singleton, Jr. of Kentucky; grandchildren, Seth (Callie) Singleton, Abel (Brooke) Singleton, Josh Singleton, Justin Singleton, Hannah Singleton, Jamey Thornton, Jake Singleton, Will and Jack Holt; great-grandchildren, Klaus Harris, Amzie Singleton, Aspen Thornton, Ella Jane Singleton.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN 37047 with burial to follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at Cornersville Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will continue on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robertson Fork Church of Christ Scholarship Fund.
Cornersville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
