Mr. David Stinson, 66, of the Scotts Community of Marshall County, died Monday, March 21, 2022. Mr. Stinson was born in Maury County and was a son of the late Everett Milton and Nina Burgett Stinson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired marketing director for the Sons of Confederate Veterans. In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Stinson.
Mr. Stinson is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo Stinson, Scotts Comm.; daughter, Jodie Stinson, Scotts Comm.; sisters, Elizabeth Hayes, Daphane, AL, Donna Fields, Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Gene Stinson, Shelbyville, TN; several nieces and nephews.
A private family Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
