Dan Dover, 64, of Antioch, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at his daughter’s home in Lewisburg. Mr. Dover was a native of Washington, DC, born Nov. 9, 1953, son of Dorman and Helen Lyerly Dover. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and retired after thirty years of service. He also retired from the State of Tennessee as a correctional officer and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Nashville...

Dan Dover, 64, of Antioch, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at his daughter’s home in Lewisburg.

Mr. Dover was a native of Washington, DC, born Nov. 9, 1953, son of Dorman and Helen Lyerly Dover. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and retired after thirty years of service. He also retired from the State of Tennessee as a correctional officer and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife, Linda Dover of Antioch; daughter, Shari Dover of Lewisburg; son, Douglas Dover of Auburndale, FL; five grandchildren; and sister, Donna Hopkins of Castle Rock, CO.

Mr. Dover’s body will be cremated and no visitation and service are planned at the funeral home.
