Cornersville students of the month
Cornersville School is proud to announce its September middle and high school students of the month. Eighth grader Briar Alexander is always engaged, responsive, and on-task. When he is not taking notes or working problems in Mrs. Laura Ledford’s math class, he is checking on those around him to make sure they “get it.” Briar does this on a regular basis without being asked to do so. Instead of working to get ahead, he makes sure that others are caught up and understand. Junior Daisy Braden always has a smile on her face and is willing to help her teachers as well as other students. She is described by Mrs. Sabrina Tarr as a good role model and a genuinely good person to her peers. Daisy is respectful, dedicated, and positive. She is a definite asset to her class. The Student of the Month program at Cornersville School is sponsored in part by the Cornersville McDonald’s restaurant. Monthly honorees are given tickets to a seasonal ballgame, concession stand coupons, and a free t-shirt.
