The District 12 A-AA Tennis Tournament was held April 27-28 at Woodland Park in Columbia with four MCHS players making it to the semifinals.

All-District selections from MCHS are Natalie Cook in Girls Singles, Rajan Desai in Boys Singles and Sean Kennedy and Dawson Hammons in Boys Doubles.

Cook, a junior at MCHS, made it to the finals round at the district tournament, finishing as runner-up and will advance to the Region 6 Tournament, which will be held the week of May 9, also at Woodland Park in Columbia. Cook defeated girls from Page, Giles County and Summertown to reach the finals.

The region winners will advance to the Spring Fling at Murfreesboro.
