Mr. Clennie S. Stephens, age 81, of Rockvale, TN, died Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was born in Nolensville, TN, and a son of the late Clennie P. and Cora Sanford Stephens. Mr. Stephens was a member of the Mt. Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retired auto parts salesman and truck driver. Mr. Clennie served our country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rubie Lee Romans Stephens, daughter, Kisher Clark, son, Danny Hill, and brother, Elvin Houston “Bear” Stephens.
Family members will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Judy Sides officiating. Interment will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN.
