Claude William Payne
Mr. Claude William Payne, 71, of Pulaski, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Williams was a retired sales manager for Goodwill Industries and a deacon at Welcome Valley Baptist Church. His son, Arthur Payne, is the minister at Lakeview Baptist Church of Lewisburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur William and June Marie Dewitt Payne.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Payne of the Campbellsville community; son, Arthur (Becky) Payne of Pulaski; three daughters, Letty (Charles) Moore of Madison, Miss., Claudia (Jack) Worsham of Pulaski, and Kathy Johnson of Minor Hill; two brothers, Bob Payne of Lena, Miss. and Henry Payne of Grand Cane, La.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, Pulaski. The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Carr and Erwin Chapel, followed by interment in Giles Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund of America.
